Sander Hubbers
SVP, Human Resources

Sander Hubbers is senior vice president of human resources for GLOBALFOUNDRIES. Hubbers joined GLOBALFOUNDRIES in 2012 and is responsible for the company’s global human resources practices, policies, and operations supporting a growing workforce of more than 12,000 people worldwide.

Prior to GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Hubbers was vice president of HR with ST-Ericsson’s smartphone and tablets division and HR operations in the Asia/US and Central Europe regions, based in France.

He previously worked for NXP Semiconductors in Singapore as VP HR, integrated manufacturing organization, and regional HR leader for Asia. He began his career with Philips Electronics (later Philips Semiconductors) in the Netherlands, progressing to senior director of HR for the global marketing and sales organization in San Jose, California.

Sander holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands.
